Group Organizes Retreat For Staff to Boost Humanitarian Work

Having a Program Retreat for staff of the organization at the beginning of the year is a good pilot for organizations vision, goals and objectives to have a successful year through the various programs and projects done directly or in collaboration with stakeh

olders.

The Chairman BOT Society for Life Changers and Good Parental Care (SoLife), and Executive Director Hope for Family Development Initiative (HFDI) Mr Aremu Stephen Akinyele made this known at the 5-days retreat for year 2020, held for SoLife and HFDI at Omilas Continental Hotel Osogbo. 

In his opening remark at the Retreat on Monday, Mr Akinyele said the sole aim of the retreat was to prepare the organization staff of the humanitarian group for the task ahead by fusing the staff to work as a team and strategize towards blessing humanity by nourishing the seed of greatness, which is the objective of the organization, adding that this can be achieved with developing action plans with passion, and establishing the organizations expectations from staff in year 2020.

He added that with the organizations vision of Helping, Empowering Women and Children, particularly the Girl Child, youths and vulnerable, capacity building of staff of the organization as well as understanding Project and project cycle familiarisation with technical, monitoring and reporting template/tools, the Strength Weakness Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) template will be utilized and action plan will be successful, adding further that it is important for staff to improve on work plan, to enhance successful implementation of goals and objectives of the non-governmental not-for-profit organization.

Departments involved in the 5-days retreat was Administration, Programme, Communication, Secretarial, Health, Finance and Monitoring and Evaluation departments of the organization.

Facilitators includes Mr Aremu Stephen Akinyele, Mr Ayobami Olaiya, Mr Goke Akinlabi, Mrs Odedeji Aanuoluwapo, Mr Henry Atamewalen, and Mrs Adeola Falana, among others.
