OSUN RESIDENTS WANT VIGILANTE GROUP TO BE SCRAPPED IMMEDIATELY

The incessant misuse of power by members of Osun  Vigilante Group, especially those members beside  St James Primary School A, Ayetoro area, Osogbo has once again been  condemned by Osogbo Residents.

This came to fore in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State as concerned peace loving residents of Ayetoro area in Osogbo lamented on the rate at which Members of Vigilante Group members in Ayetoro disrupting the peace of their immediate environment by beating innocent  residents of Ayetoro barbarically.

Speaking with one of the affected persons in the area, Mr Adekunle Sikiru whose family house is located at Abaku Compound, where the office of the Vigilante Members situated described the incident as uncalled for, barbaric and inhumane character from the law enforcement agency like that of Vigilante group.

Mr Sikiru who was arrested at Abaku Family where  his sick mother lives lamented that he was going to his family house before the Vigilante members approached him and started beating him up and assaulted his personality as an independent journalist and a civil servant in Osun State.

Efforts to reach the public Relation Unit of the Vigilante members in Ayetoro proved abortive as no one was on ground at their office situated at Ayetoro area, in Osogbo.
