OSUN RESIDENTS MAKE A U- TURN, RECOGNIZE THE ACTIVITIES OF VIGILANTE GROUP

The Osun State residents have withdrawn their earlier stand on the scrapping of the vigilante group in Osun State. The residents while being interviewed by the journalists in Osogbo made it clear that as against their assertion to scrap the association, they said they were now in support of the activities of the group as it has tremendously curbed the activities of the hoodlums in the state

The residents said the group as expected has protected  lives and properties of the residents and are working hands in gloves with other security agencies.
It should be noted that the organization has the state government backing in all it's dealings.

The residents however enjoined the government to support the organization the more in othee to encourage them to continue protecting  lives and making sure the society is peaceful.

This came to fore in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State as concerned  residents of Ayetoro area in Osogbo praised the activities of the Members of Vigilante Group protecting innocent  residents of Ayetoro and other environs.

Speaking with one of the  persons who were recently protected by the vigilantee group while being attacked by the hoodlums in the area, Mr Adekunle Sikiru whose family house is located at Abaku Compound, where the office of the Vigilante Members situated described the help rendered by the group as appreciated for, humane character from the law enforcement agency and the Vigilante group.

Adekunke Sikiru eulogized the vigilante group in Osun State and described it as the best thing to happen to the people, he concluded.
