Oyetola Approves O'Money For OyesExit Program Training

Osun Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has for the umpteenth time strengthened cadets of Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme, OYES with empowerment in Point of Sale (POS) transaction, aka Osun Money Transfer, O’Money.

The technology of mobile money empowerment is part of the Exit Program Trainings for the OYES cadets of the State of Osun.

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at the graduation and presentation ceremony stated that the Point of Sale, POS training by Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme OYES is for transformation in the area of attitude, behaviour and above all economic impact, which is the most important.

The Governor who was represented by the OYES Commandante’ Col.
EniIbukun Oyewole (rtd), also stated that the OYES O’Money, through Point of Sale is also Android compliant. He added that POS equipment is acquired in categories of outright purchase and rebated POS.

The POS machine was given free of charge to four (4) cadets based on their tenacity for marketing. This donation he said was made possible by Mr. Nurudeen Oyekunle the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of De-Just Multi Services Company Ltd.

He added that the programme supported by Interswitch, gives the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme cadets prospects in acquisition of landed property.

The ownership of landed property is a part of the Government’s focus to ensure that the OYES cadets become home owners and banish poverty.

Those who participated in the OYES O’Money Exit Program Training comprises of Four thousand five hundred and fourteen (4,514) beneficiaries.

Many of the beneficiaries run the mobile money transaction with the use of Point of Sale POS equipment, while the rest cadets use Android compliant phones for their various transactions.

The O’Money outlets operated by the cadets are located at many strategic places across the cities and towns in the State of Osun.
