Governor Oyetola Reiterate Commitment To Create Enabling Enviroment ForInvestors In Osun State

The Governor State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has revealed that his administration is set to provide the necessary facilities for
companies to invest and thrive in the State for economic development.
Governor Oyetola made this disclosure during the courtesy call paid to him by Liquefied Waste Energy Limited and other technical partners, held at the governor's office on Monday in Osogbo.
The Governor, who commended Siemens for working with the country on
communication and gas production over the years, also appreciated them
for their interest and plans for development in Osun by provision of liquefied gas, adding that Energy is an important aspect of development.
He reiterated the importance of energy in building, adding that energy is good and it's gladdening that the state has the National Control Centre (NCC) and lots of water bodies needed for production of electricity, stressing that employment will be one of the advantages of the power generating plant.
Speaking further, Governor Oyetola expressed the willingness of his
administration to partner with the company on energy production for the state, stressing that government is ready to work with serious minded companies for the wellbeing of the people of the State.
The number one helmsman, who commended the company for chosing the state, as well as their plan to produce 50 watts of power generation,
maintained that his government is ready to give an enabling
environment for the company to work.
He then used the medium to call on investors to partner with the state on development, noting that with the economic summit in the state, opportunities abound for businesses in the region for economic
development.
"I am delighted to welcome your team to Osun. You have antecedent of
working with the country on communication and gas production over the years and we are glad you are in Osun to partner with us".
"Energy is an important part of development and for us that are in a
hurry to develop the state, energy is good because in building
industrial parts, we need energy to come to the state, and as well people will get employment from your company sited in Osun".
"Though we have seen lots of proposals from companies in the past, but they disappear at the point of implementation, probably because they
lack the resources they claim to have, but we trust Siemens to
deliver. We are ready for you and we will create enabling environment for you to operate".
"We don't want to be constrained based on lack of funds. We knew where Osun was before we took over. We are taking up the challenge and moving forward, this is because what the government need is to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive on industrialization".
"We look for serious minded people to partner with us and we shall give you enabling environment to operate on. What everyone needs is to
tap on the benefit of the economic summit for development in relevant sector", Governor Oyetola stated.
In his welcome remarks, the Chief Executive Officer, Liquefied Waste
Energy Limited, Mr Kazeem Adeleke praised Governor Adegboyega Oyetola
for being a visionary Governor, adding that with the economic summit in the state, rapid development will take place.
The team leader expressed delight at the development in the state, stressing that with the firmness of the government in handling the project, despite the low allocation to the state, the state will develop economically with its tenacity, while pledging the commitment of the company to work with Osun government.
He congratulated Osun for having the resources needed for power generation particularly water, adding that with critical areas
identified in the state for generation, Liquefied natural gas usage will enhance further provision of energy for businesses to develop in the State.
