Your Effort is Commendable, Alimi, Ayantunji Eulogises Monsurat Ajoke Foundation.

The immediate past commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs in the state of Osun and the state Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji has commended the effort of Monsurat Ajoke Foundation for her determination to get justice for the less privilege in the society.

The duo made the statement today, when the foundation visited them in their offices. Barrister Kolapo Alimi, said, there is no way to appreciate her effort than to pray for God to reward her abundantly.

While, advising the Foundation, Alimi, said, the campaign should be taken to nooks and crannies of the state especially rural areas.Alimi, a lawyer promised the services of lawyers in his chambers free of charge to the Foundation.

Ayantunji, who confessed he has been hearing the activities of the Foundation before the visit, advised her not to relent, saying the abuse against women and children is getting out of hand.

He said, the population of women according to recent statistics is 68% against men which is put at 32% noting that this has put pressure on all of us to work towards fighting for their right.

"Whatever that happens to 68% of population will definitely have effect on the whole population and that's why we must defend them against any attack and abuse" Ayantunji said.In her opening remarks, the coordinator of the Foundation, Ibrahim Monsurat, said, her experience spurred her to fight for the less privileged in the society, saying hundreds are dying of abuses and nobody is there to speaks for them.
