O-AMBULANCE RECEIVES ACCOLADES

Kudos has been given to Osun Ambulance Services Agency popularly known as O'Ambulance for rescuing an okada rider who was involved in a lone accident which happened late at night on Saturday.

According to the good Samaritan that notified O'Ambulance of the incidence, 'It was around 9.pm on Saturday 5th October, 2019 that an Okada rider was involved in a lone accident in front of INEC office opposite House of Assembly Complex, Osogbo'.

He added that 'we were on our home and was disturbed with the gory sight of the victim gasping for breath on the ground. We were all perplexed as to what to do. A call was made through to the Head of O Ambulance and before you know it, the ambulance emerged from no where. The victim was immediately rescued and taken to hospital for medical attention'.

'If not for the apt intervention by the O'Ambulance, the accident victim would have died'. 

Kudos to our O'Ambulance. We are impressed with your rapid response to the distressed call.

This according to him, shows that Osun is working and the Government is alive to its responsibilities.  May God bless all those involved in the rescue mission. I am elated that I am part of the people that saved that soul, he added.

Dr Olusegun Babatunde, the General Manager of the agency when contacted affirmed that one of the key policy of the government under the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola is adequate healthcare delivery which includes protection of lives, adding that the agency is working in tandem with the mandate of the government for good service delivery.

The O'Ambulance GM commended the Special Unit of the ambulance service for being proactive in responding promptly to save the road traffic accident victim, saying further that the victim is in good condition at the hospital and his family has been notified.
