UTILIZE YOUR POSITION FOR OSUN PEOPLE - GOVERNOR OYETOLA CHARGES LOCALGOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN

The Governor of the State of Osun, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has
charged Local Government Chairmen in the state to use their office judiciously in favour of Osun people within the stipulated period of time available to them.

The Governor gave the charge while the forum of Local Government
Chairmen visited him at his office in Osogbo, the state capital.

Governor Oyetola, who reminded the Local Government Chairmen of giving account of their stewardship to the electorate, urged them to utilize the number of days at their disposal.

Having appreciated the Chairmen for their solidarity, support and
prayers, Governor Oyetola restated his resolve to continue to support and provide enabling environment to the local government helmsmen.

'If you have any project that gives you some work to do for the people in your councils, please do so because every day counts, you go back to the people who elected you in a matter of a
year and half from now'.

'I thank you for all your solidarity, prayers and lots of activities
by all and sundry'.

You still have sufficient time to turn things around, we will support you', the Governor stated.

The Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, Hon Samuel Idowu Abiodun appreciated the Governor for his
fatherly advice which he described as timely.

He added that, local government’s chairmen in the state will work
tirelessly in support of the government of Governor Adegboyega
Oyetola, adding that the state will witness developmental strides in
all sectors with the present administration.
