G83 Felicitates with Muslims On Eid El Kabir Festival.

A Socio-political group, G83 has Felicitated with entire Muslim faithful in the state of Osun on the occasion of this year Eid El Kabir celebration, urging Muslims to imbibe and uphold the lesson of love, sacrifice, fidelity, loyalty, brotherliness and peaceful coexistence which the festival teaches.

This contained in a goodwill message issued in Ifon, Orolu kingdom on Friday by the press secretary of the group, Mr Alao Waheed and signed by the PRO of the group, Mr Kilani Kabir which copy was made available to the press men in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to the chairman of the group, Prince Mohammed Maruf, "the exemplary virtues of sacrifice, obedience and generosity exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim should not be lost to the merriment of the festival".

G83 therefore prayed that this year's eid el Kabir be a period of spiritual renewal that will rejuvenate the mindset of all political office holders and leaders to render selfless services to our communities, constituencies, districts as well as political zones and nation at large deviod of personal and selfish interest purposely to lessen the pains and yarnings of the poor and teeming unemployed youths.

"If this act is imbibed, peace, progress and development which we have been praying for will definitely come to stay and insecurity, kidnapping, ritual killings, robbery, corruption and other obnoxious activities perpetrating by evil people will be totally eradicated".

G83 therefore appealed to Muslim faithful to celebrate moderately and use the period of Eid El Addah to pray for tranquility, peace and unity for unprecedented developments to be achieved.

The group enjoined all Muslim faithful to also use this season of charity and forgiveness to remember to fend for the needy and poor around them which is in terndem with the Almighty Allah's injunction to be our brother's keepers and leave peacefully.

G83 also congratulates the governor of the state of Osun, Alh Gboyega Oyetola and his cabinet, the All Progressives Congress  state Chairman, Prince Adegboyega Famoodun and the entire members of the party, Orolu local government chairman, Prince Adekunle Benson, MHR Bukola Oyewo, Senator Ajibola Basiru on eid festival, praying that this year celebration will not be the last as we will all celebrate more of it on this earth.
