Osun Guber:  Ifeland APC Seeks Face of God

All roads led to Ife Federal Constituency of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday when chieftains and members of the party sought the face of the Lord on the Friday's determination of the Supreme Court in the protracted legal battle on the Osun State governorship seat.

The interdenominational prayers session which was held in front of the Palace of the Ooni of Ife was officiated by both Islamic and Christian clerics who all prayed for the success of the incumbent Governor  Gboyega Oyetola at the Supreme Court.

Clerics drawn from all the components units of the Ife Federal Constituency like Ife Central, Ife East, Ife North, Ife South and Modakeke were all in attendance praying for Oyetola's success.

The venue which was filled to capacity witnessed the presence of APC bigwigs from federal constituency.

Among the foremost progressive politicians in attendance were former Deputy Governor of the state, Sooko Adewoyin, former federal minister, Alhaji Bashir Awotorebo, former State of Osun Culture Commissioner, Alhaji Sikiru Aiyedun, the Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, Mr Molade Binuyo, Mr Kole Akinrinade, Honourable Ipoola Binuyo, Barr Kunle Oyatomi, Mr Kola Olabisi, Alhaji Asalu and some local government council and party chairmen from the federal constituency.

In his sermon, one of the clerics disclosed that for the mere fact that the benevolent administration of the APC has touched the lives of the electorate without minding the party affiliation is enough reason for Governor Oyetola to continue with his governance of the state.

The cleric who specifically mentioned O'Yes and N'Power with O'Meal as PDP members as beneficiaries are other reasons why the administration of the APC must continue in the state.
