How Saheed Balogun, Fathia ‘Reconciled’ On Set.

Popular actors, Saidi Balogun and his ex wife, Fathia Williams, may have decided to put the past behind them in what would finally look like a reunion of sort having been separated from each other for about 12 years.
They are currently appearing on set of a new movie, Aje Oja, for the first time after they went their separate ways due to what was described as irreconcilable differences that forced many movie producers to stop casting them together for over a decade.
While it could not be established if this is a reunion for commercial purpose or otherwise, friends and colleagues of the two actors have been getting hopeful over the development as they urged them to rekindle their lost love and move on as couple again.
Investigation by Nigerian Tribune revealed that since they both appeared on the scene as a couple, words have been going round about what could be another reunion that would dominate the entertainment industry for a long time, but no one could confirm what they are up to.
Since their break-up, there had been moves by some socialites in Lagos to reconcile them, but all efforts to put their marriage back on track yielded no positive results.
It was learnt that the new movie, which is produced by Fathia, who was said to have reached out to her ex-husband to play the role of her husband for what R gathered could be linked to just the commercial purpose.
Though none of them has confirmed if they might truly reconcile, but some of their colleagues who commented on the pictures released by Fathia on Instragram said they hoped that their love could be rekindled once again.
When speaking with Saidi Balogun on Friday, he confirmed that he was currently on set of the movie but refused to comment further whether it was for commercial purpose or not.
The actor, who is also set to release his latest all English-cast movie, WHITE, next month said “after a long time, this is the first movie we are working together on. It is a big project and the title is Aje Oja.”
Asked what it felt like to be back on set with his ex-wife, the actor declined comment, saying “I want to concentrate on the movie. I think I should let you know that what matters is that we do our job and do it well.”
He said his new movie, which featured popular actors and actresses like Femi Adebayo, Adunni Ade, Sukanmi Omobolanle among others would hit the market in a few weeks time.
